Michael Strahan: A Giant Legend

Michael Strahan is one of the best-known players in the NFL.  His position was defensive end.  He played his first NFL game in the 1993 season and played his last NFL game in the 2007 season.  Strahan played his entire 14-year career on the New York Giants, wearing #92.  In 2001, Strahan set the record for most sacks in a single season, with 22.5 sacks.  He played his last game as a New York Giant in Super Bowl 42, when the Giants beat the Patriots in Arizona.

On August 2, 2014, Srahan was inducted into the Football Hall of Fame.  He was the last of the 2014 inductees to speak, which seemed fitting considering how successful his career was.  Giants fans all over the world look back on his career and all he did for the team with a great amount of pride.  The New York Giants will retire Strahan’s number on Monday, November 3, when they play the Indianapolis Colts at MetLife Stadium.  Not only fans of the Giants, but all NFL fans respect Strahan and his amazing abilities he displayed every Sunday when he stepped on the field.
